In the interview, the use of the technique Match & Mirrors have a big impact for the success of a person to be liked most people. Only in minutes, this technique will make people like you, although initially the person is apriori against you.
In the book Get Anyone to Do Anything, David J. Lieberman Ph.D. that communication create mutual trust, and allows you to build a bridge to the psychological one.
The conversation became more positive and comfortable when two people try to adjust to each other. As we tend to love someone who has the same interests, we are not aware also tend to like people "like us."
This means that, when a movement such as we do, or use the word or expression that we use, we tend to assume these people are fun.
Based on this condition you can intentionally falsify certain movement made by your opponent talk directly to the love you. This technique is called Match & Mirrors or equality and reflection.
Match means the movement in accordance with the speech made by your opponent. For example, when the recipient holds the pen with the left hand, you also hold the pen with the left hand.
While the Mirror mean that you follow the movement with the opposite hand to speak your opponent (the nature of the mirror). For example, when the recipient holds the pen with your left hand, holding the pen with your right hand.
Match & Mirrors do when you undergo the interview. Follow every movement made by the interviewer with the tacit or not known by it. Give a few seconds pause in the movement.
- Words 7%
- 38% voice tone
- 55% body language
Here are the factors that must be taken to apply the technique in the Match & Mirrors:
Words affect only 7% in the communication, adjust expressions used your interviewer. For example you, you, we, our, my, my.
Quality / tone sound effect 38% in the communication. The quality of your voice more influential than the words you use. Use the same dialect, tone dialing, high tone, a tone slow, sad tone, excited tone.
Physiology or body language has the most influence in communicating. Follow the movement body, such as:
- Head: nod, mimik face.
- Signed: the movement of hands, left with the left, left with a right.
- How to sit / stand: supine position, robust, confident, self-confident.
- The atmosphere: happy, clean, sad, sympathy.
- Pool: straight, folded, the segment is same stand feet, etc..
In principle, you have to do is talk to your opponent's movement with caution. Follow the movement talk your opponent with the intention to do well and carefully so he does not know that you are following the movement you.
Have a great interview!!!
